GewasCheck
A deficiency in one or more elements often has significant consequences for the growth and development of the crop. Nutrient uptake depends on many factors, including pH, EC, and climate. Temperature, light, and humidity determine evaporation and, consequently, the uptake and transport of nutrients. Additionally, the relative proportions of the available nutrients play a role; an excess of one element often inhibits the uptake of another. During the season, there are two methods to gain insight into nutrient uptake and the nutritional status of the crop: CropCheck The dry matter analysis determines both dissolved and fixed nutrients in oven-dried plant material. This provides information on all nutrients present in the plant. The results are presented in g/kg, μg/kg, %/kg, or mmol/kg of dry matter. Eurofins Agro has an extensive database of target values for a wide range of crops. This allows you to compare the values from the analysis of your crop sample with the reference values for your crop.
