Soil health analysis includes soil physical properties (granuliometric composition, density and strukcture), biological properties such as microbiological activity, organic matter content and quality, and the rate of mineralisation of organic matter. Also chemical properties, including macro-nutrient accumulations in the soil, the amount of nutrients available to plants, the amount of N released from humus, the pH and cation exchange capacity of the soil, and the saturation of bases. Recommendations shall be made on the basis of an assessment of all these soil properties.
