YaraIrix is a smartphone app that allows you to measure the nitrogen demands of your crops at different growth stages. It analyses images taken with the phone's own camera and uses these to estimate crop nitrogen uptake. In Greece it can be used in maize crops. At the first grow stages of the crop, YaraIrix can be used as a standalone, while in later growth stages, it needs to be used in combination with Yara N-Tester. The application is free for download and installation but it is available only for iOS users.
